Senior Accountants

Our senior qualified chartered accountants and advisors form a vital part of the firm's management base. Their considerable experience in the full range of taxation and business services enhances the reputation Byrons has maintained for over 50 years.

Glenn Davis Glenn graduated from Macquarie University in 1986 and has since been working in public accounting. During this time Glenn has gained experience providing tax and business advice to small to medium sized businesses (specialising in manufacturing) and administering self managed superannuation funds. Sue Micallef Sue is a graduate of the University of New South Wales and has been a Chartered Accountant for over 25 years. Sue has a strong taxation background with special interests in superannuation, small and medium business and property management. Sue is a Senior Manager at Byrons and organises in-house training sessions. Sue Micallef
Helen Ditchfield 

Helen is a graduate of the University of Technology Sydney, a Chartered Accountant and an Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australia. Helen joined the firm in 1997, specialising in Business Services and assists a broad range of clients with the management of their accountancy and income tax affairs. Ben Burgess       Ben is a Partner with PSK Financial Services, and has 18 years experience in the financial services industry. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and strongly adheres to the FPA’s code of ethics. Ben has a particular interest in the areas of Self Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF) and Estate Planning, and is an accredited SMSF Specialist Adviser. Ben Burgess
Alan Quinlan

Alan completed his Associate Diploma of Accounting in 1990, and after several years as a Financial Accountant (for Atkins Carlyle, now Alesco Ltd) he pursued his passion for Information Technology. After completing his Diploma in IT in 1997 he has supported legal software products (Open Practice and Lawfiler), and worked as a System Administrator in the retail/fashion industry for such successful brands as Guess? and Gucci.
Since 2000 Alan has developed his speciality of IT services for Chartered Accounting firms, joining Byrons in 2003 as their IT Manager. Alan represents the firm at the IT TAP (The Accountants Peer) Group, and the HowNow (Business Fitness) Users Group, amongst others.  Alan is currently studying Project Management and is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner. Alan Quinlan
